James Gandolfini, Queens NY, 2006. Capturing The Sopranos’ last ad campaign was like shooting a family portrait - and shooting each cast member on their own allowed me to really delve in to the complexity of the characters and the actors themselves. This shot was one of my favorites. It captures Tony Soprano, who was a mean motherfucker, somewhat pathological, but it also illustrates the warmth of this human being who played him. It’s one of my most revered images, and it’s because of that duality James brought to the role and how you can see that quality through this portrait.

Each photograph is produced as an archival pigment print on Canson Platine Fibre Rag paper. All prints are hand-signed by the artist and offered as editioned Artist Proofs (A/P).

Since prints and frames are made on an order basis, prints will ship approximately 2–3 weeks after order is placed regardless of the shipping method chosen. An email will be sent with the tracking information once the print ships. Delivery will regularly take between 3-5 business days.
