Busta Rhymes, New York City NY, 1997. Shooting Busta Rhymes back then was crazy fun. It was completely different than NWA, who are really kind of stoic and tough. He was young, full of energy, and just in your face. Hip hop shoots were different than typical Hollywood glamour - they were exaggerative and fun, wide-angle lenses and full of personality. Busta really brought that energy to the shoot. He played to the camera, changing up hats and sunglasses, dancing, screaming, and just having a blast. That’s what this shoot was about. I shot him a few times, and he was always that way - unpredictable and full of life.
Each photograph is produced as an archival pigment print on Canson Platine Fibre Rag paper. All prints are hand-signed by the artist and offered as editioned Artist Proofs (A/P).
Since prints and frames are made on an order basis, prints will ship approximately 2–3 weeks after order is placed regardless of the shipping method chosen. An email will be sent with the tracking information once the print ships. Delivery will regularly take between 3-5 business days.
