Indian Larry, Brooklyn, NY 2003. Larry was a hardcore biker, a street person, a criminal, a drug addict. He was funny, creative, and honest. He was many things to many people, but he turned his life around and became sober, spiritual, and a successful custom motorcycle builder, mechanic, and artist. He also became a very dear friend. We had a wonderful friendship for over 25 years. Even though I was usually off shooting celebrities in Hollywood, and he was doing his thing in New York City, we always had one thing that brought us back together - the bikes.

This stunt was something he did a lot. He called it the crucifix: standing up on his motorcycle and riding with his arms out stretched. It’s also how he passed away. We were together on a last ride on that day, and although it pains me to have lost such an incredible friend, I know he wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Each photograph is produced as an archival pigment print on Canson Platine Fibre Rag paper. All prints are hand-signed by the artist and offered as editioned Artist Proofs (A/P).

Since prints and frames are made on an order basis, prints will ship approximately 2–3 weeks after order is placed regardless of the shipping method chosen. An email will be sent with the tracking information once the print ships. Delivery will regularly take between 3-5 business days.
